Don't touch the key, leave it in your pocket. Now touch the car door handle, the car unlocks. Open the door, shut the door and then touch the car door handle, the car will lock.
I suggest that you install the Scan My Peugeot app on your phone, it gives you all the information you need.

Re: Screen
Hi hadara,
You will need to install Android Auto on to your phone, and use a USB cable from the socket in front of the gear stick. After a while the car will ask you if you want to use Android Auto. You can only use Android Auto by USB, as Bluetooth is not enabled.

Re: Which engine size to get?
Some 1.2 pure tech manual gearbox has a whining noise which Peugeot are struggling to get to grips with. I have a 1.5 Bluehdi EAT8 and can confirm that it is a brilliant, smooth gearbox.

Re: Found the car with the left side lights on
Usually this happens if the indicator stalk is put to the left or right position prior to locking the car.

Re: Towbar
Roof mounted would/should be cheaper. My detachable towbar cost £675 fitted, but did have electrics for caravan towing, some of which involved connecting to the battery.

Re: Noise when reversing
I used to get a drone or groan noise when I had a 2017 Allure 1.6 bluehdi auto. Eventually the noise disappeared. It happened immediately after selecting reverse but also with a very slight turn of the steering wheel. I thought it was maybe from the brakes?

Re: Android auto/mirror link
Flemtyke,
Android Auto will only work with a USB cable. If you don't have Android Auto on your phone, then you need to install it. Once you have installed AA and connected with a good quality USB cable, there will be some settings to use. YouTube is a good source of the setup.

Re: Towbar
Kev,
it makes sense if you want to mount a bike take. After a few bruised shins, I went detachable. Also I do prefer my rear end to be neat and tidy. Lol

Re: Towbar
Kev, I can't comment on a fixed towbar as I have a detachable. When I drive with the detachable installed it does not interfere with the sensors. I would be surprised if the fixed towbar gives any problems. The detachable is unobtrusive when disconnected and the electric socket swings up out of view...
