Hi Dee , it turned out to be the cam belt perishing & particles were getting into the engine . A known problem By Peugeot . They replaced the cam belt with a new improved cam belt , all done under warranty

Hi ,

Not sure if this has been resolved but this happened to my 2017 3008 . Exactly the same thing turn on heated screen DAB disappeared . Took mine to dealer & had to have whole new rear screen all replaced under warranty. The aerial for DAB is in the rear screen

Finally got the car back mid July like you new cam belt , pump etc fitted . The dealership told me they’d had 20 in since January . Even though my warranty had expired during their shut down due to Covid 19 they carried out the work free of charge . Apparently the cam belt should have lasted 80k mil...

Update :- Garage has had car since 1st June haven’t touch it yet . Two other 3008 with exactly the same problem waiting to be done at same time . May get the car back by August

Cam Belt Perishing

Has anyone else had this issue where fragments of the cam belt have got into the engine & caused damage . My 2017 3008 1.2 Allure is currently sat in the dealership . Unfortunately running on a skeleton staff it means that they won’t have a master technician to look at it for 2 weeks or how long...

Hi , I have 2017 1.2 3008 manual , just recently I’ve had Orange oil pressure warning come on . It’s been to an independent mechanic as my dealership is closed because of covid19. Two sensors were replaced including oil pressure sensor . Since coming back the orange oil pressure fault is showing up ...

Just an update for you in case others encounter similar issue . The dealership had car for over a week carried out investigation , spoke to another dealership who’d had same issue come in to them . In order to fix they replaced the whole rear screen !! Since doing this all is fine ( touchwood )
