I’ve attempted to install these but not been successful. The map update just failed after starting and the firmware update just never gave me the option to install it.

Well I tried it again today and no luck.
The system update flatly refused to appear.
The map update did however appear and allowed me to start to install it, then it failed.

The uk version of these instructions state "formatted with Windows" in the first step.

I got a friend to format my usb stick with Windows last night and I'll give it another go.

Has any mac user had any success updating the map or system software?
I tried this morning but the car just doesn't read the drive.
It's formatted as Fat32 Master Boot Record, but maybe it has to be formatted with Windows.
