Mine had only done around 5k when it needed replacing. I wonder how many have had the belt fail completely and needed a new engine as a result. It would be very dangerous if it happened on the outside lane on a motorway.

Is the computer you are using 32 bit? If so the file is probably too big for it. It probably needs a 64 bit machine. I downloaded the map update from here: https://www.peugeot.co.uk/servicing/map-system-updates/ The only problem was that an error message ("can't find the file" or similar) ...

I've got a GT Line 1.2 auto 6-speed. I've never driven the 1.2 manual, but power wise the car compares well with the Astra 1.6 manual it replaced.

I had that. Seems to have been caused by oil getting on to the belt. I took it to the nearest dealer the first time the message appeared. They said they couldn't find anything wrong and it probably wouldn't happen again. It did, and I took it back, with the same result. Next time it happened I took ...

Dealer did a software update, which they said should fix the problem. We shall see.

Booked into the dealer again next Monday. If they say they can't find anything wrong yet again, I'll be looking at other makes unless they offer me a great deal on a Peugeot 2008.

The only voice recognition that works for me is the radio.

I find it comes and goes. It always vanishes going from Wrexham and Liverpool, but if I stop and switch the ignition off, it comes back. It never vanishes when travelling in the other direction.
