TomTom Traffic
Does anyone else have problems with TomTom Traffic vanishing? If I travel on the A483 and A55 between Wrexham and Liverpool, TomTom Traffic vanishes and is replaced by TMC. I thought this was just because there is no signal there, but it never vanishes on the return journey, and if I stop and turn t...

Re: New maps and firmware
Thanks for reply. I'll give it another go some time. Looks as if they replace the entire European information, instead of just the changed bits as TomTom seem to. Trouble is it takes forever on my internet connection. There doesn't seem to be an option to use bittorrent - at least then it could rest...

Re: New maps and firmware
I tried to download the file but it failed at 1.6GB. How big is the file? While I was doing the download it gave the file size as 8GB, which seems unbelievably high. The maximum size for FAT32 is 4GB.

Re: Hello everyone
Hi daddydoug. I have never driven a Qashqai, but I love the 3008 (I have a GT Line 1.2 automatic). I would strongly recommend booking a test drive. Re dealers, my previous cars were also Vauxhalls and I agree with you that their dealer service was excellent, but unfortunately I can't say the same ab...

Re: new 3008 suv problem !!!
Peugeot's attitude seems to be that they will not order parts until the vehicle has been inspected by the dealer, even if they know what work is needed, and they do not hold stocks of parts even for known faults. I had to go to the dealer twice (two round trips of 60 miles each) before they would do...

Re: Recall notices
Looks like Peugeot are that incompetent then, although dealers should not make appointments for work they can't do. It's the first Peugeot I have had. For the last 20 years I have had Vauxhalls, and never had a problem with their recalls. That will probably change now Peugeot have taken them over. P...

Re: Recall notices
I had the recall notice and made an appointment with the nearest dealer (30 miles away!). When I got there, they said that Peugeot would not let them have the part needed until the car had been inspected (even though the recall was to fit that part), and made another appointment. The day before that...
