Re: Mudflaps
Car manufacturers go to great lengths to provide a decent paint finish to reduce chances of corrosion. In fitting these mudflaps you'll be drilling part of the body thus exposing bare metal which will eventually rust, Why ruin a car body to fit something as non sensical as mus flaps? Official OEM m...

Re: Mudflaps
Hi Kevie, I amin the same position as you. I have decided to discard the pop rivets and use large head screws instead. These require a 5mm drill. The front flaps can probably done without removing the wheels. The rears will need to wheels off as there is no room. I have a right angled drill adapter ...

Re: Strange noise when turning off car
I think from previous turbocharged car's that I have owned, the turbocharger is cycled by a servo motor. This is to make sure the vanes are free moving. Maybe someone with more technical knowledge will explain it better?

Re: 2019 model 3008 GTLine 1.5d auto.
You can turn off the internal and motion sensors. The button is on the right of the steering wheel at about knee level. I use it on the ferry to the Isle of Wight, works perfectly. I think you get 10 seconds after pressing the button to get out of the car and lock it? Install the Scan My Peugeot app...

Re: Engine start / stop not working

Winter is the time of the year that stops it working the most, due to power used for demisting, heating and short trips. My stop/start has not worked since late Oc...

Re: Sound while reversing
Would you say it is a groaning noise? I had it on mine if I reversed with a small amount of steering to the left. Eventually it just seems to go away.

Re: manual mode in EAT8
Geoffh, I know how you feel. The changes in technology is sometimes difficult to keep up with. I tow a caravan and the quick method of using the paddle shifts are a blessing. As I can keep both hands where they are needed the most. The only thing I dislike is the method of making changes to the heat...

Re: manual mode in EAT8
Geoff,
On the gear stick there is a square black button "M". Press it and use the paddle shifts to manually change the gears up and down. There is no need to touch the gear shift again, unless it's to switch off the "M" button and return to automatic mode.

Re: manual mode in EAT8
I tow a caravan with my 3008 SUV and find the paddle shifts very useful for undulating and twisty roads.
