Advanced Grip Control
Hi Members, With the recent bad weather I wonder if anyone has had the opportunity to use Advanced Grip Control in snow conditions. If so, is it only of benefit when pulling away or of assistance throughout the journey. Also, does any member know if it would be better to stay in manual mode whilst u...

Re: i phone contacts
:D :D Hi Fanatic and Kensden, I'm sorry to hear that you feel i am one of those people who moan about trivialities, the truth is that I am more than pleased with my 3008 and have always said so on this forum. Why I said what I did in reply to Fanatic was because of the tasteless remarks in his post ...

Re: i phone contacts
Message for Fanatic. It would appear that you don't even own a new 3008 so what are you doing trying to turn this site into a circus. This is a good forum with lots of useful information to be shared, so why are you acting like a complete idiot and spoiling it for everyone else. Please pipe-down and...

Re: CARBON EFFECT DASHBOARD AND DOOR PANELS
I would guess that it would be easier to change your car as this is all factory fitted. The reason I was so attracted to the 3008 was the fabric dashboard but I do accept it is all down to personal tastes and opinions.

Re: CARBON EFFECT DASHBOARD AND DOOR PANELS
Hi Kensden,
It would appear that you are talking about the Active entry model which has the carbon effect dashboard and door panels, the next model up has the brumeo fabric (not carpet off-cuts) which is considered very attractive by most buyers.

Re: Reliability
Hi Big Bob, Welcome to the forum. I have only had my 1.2 petrol auto for 5 months and so far it has been very reliable. We will all have to wait a bit longer to see the long term reliability. To answer your question on fuel consumption, as with all cars it depends on the type of journey. This week I...

Re: Speed Camera alert in Tomtom
Why do you need a speed camera alert? the speed limit signs appear long before the speed camera.

Re: Dim Dashboard
Thanks for that JDH,
I have been fiddling with that for quite a time with no luck, your detailed explanation really works. That is why this forum is so useful, what is so obvious to one person can be confusing to another. It will now be much more comfortable driving at night.

Re: 1.6 versus 1.2 petrols
Hi Steve, I can only speak for the 1.2 allure petrol auto, On a trip to the coast I clocked up 210 miles, on the way down I stayed in manual changing gear with the paddles at the steering wheel and it managed 46.9 mpg: on the way back I left it in auto and it returned 46.3 mpg, hardly any difference...

Re: Iso fix for 3008
Hi again,
Thanks, I can't find anything to say the airbags can be deactivated electronically but I did find that the vehicle is approved with the latest Iso-Fix regulations.
