In order to remove the cover easily you unscrew the two wires from the front make sure you put them back on one of them usually the top one has the tendency to lean back and easily forgotten
Had the same problem once i took of the battery again i reealise it everything is fine now. It wouldn't crank the engine, engine fault light came on and economy mode came on also. Hope this helps someone

I just had this exact same issue and was able to fix it.
Where you remove the bolts from the fuse box on top of battery, when reattached it can cause contact issues, clean the contact throughly and then screw on the bolts tightly. Fault fixed.
There are three bolts two need to be removed one does not, I removed all three and this caused issues due to the above issue, once all residue removed problem was fixed, also make sure they are tight. Hope this helps someone.
