Hi
I've just bought a second hand 3008 (2017 GTline) and am trying to download the latest firmware as the current version is 2 years old. Using the advice from the MY PEUGEOT app:
Hello,

Updating your navigation system's maps is done using the "PEUGEOT Update" application. This application prepares the USB key that you will need to use in your vehicle.

If you have previously downloaded the application, open it and start downloading the update.

If you have not yet download the application, download the application "PEUGEOT Connect Update" with the URL below:
For Windows : https://www.peugeot.fr/majesticinstalle ... update.exe
For MAC : https://www.peugeot.fr/majesticinstalle ... update.dmg

Make sure that the application is downloaded and saved on the hard drive of your computer and not directly on an external support connected by USB.

You must have administrator rights on the computer and a broadband Internet connection.

Download the activation key

Problem 1:
The problem is that the download never completes onto my computer (tried both windows and mac). Although it looks like it completes, I am not able to press the continue button at the end of the process.

Problem 2:
Do I need an activation key (this is firmware only)? The link supplied by Peugeot does not work.

Many thanks
Jon

Had the same issue yesterday. The progress bar goes to 100% but the Continue button is greyed out. On the third attempt I disabled by antivirus a couple of minutes before it reached 100% and the Continue button then eventually worked. Might be coincidence, but worth a try!
(It goes on to format your USB stick then copy the files over).

Is the computer you are using 32 bit? If so the file is probably too big for it. It probably needs a 64 bit machine.

I downloaded the map update from here:
https://www.peugeot.co.uk/servicing/map-system-updates/

The only problem was that an error message ("can't find the file" or similar) appeared when I put the USB stick in the car's socket. I waited about 30 seconds, the message disappeared and the update took about half an hour.

The car's software (ie non-map) update was done by a dealer for no charge.
