Hi guys I have a 2010 Peugeot 3008 2.0 diesel ,whilst driving yesterday the alternator bearings just gave up the ghost, there was a loud clunk sound from the engine bay , the belt was in tack, The reason for my question is that when I phoned to order a replacement , gave my reg number over the phone they came back with there two types, and the difference in out put is huge one is 80 amps the other is 140amps ,any idea which one I need ,and having look at replacing it, it looks like a bugger of a job .
