Hello Everyone,
We (wife and I) own a 2012 3008, last week it went into limp mode when I started the car when I was going to commute to work. It went to a local (good quality) garage who told me the build up of leaves in the channel that drains the car had caused water to leak into the electrics in the engine. The leaves were removed so the water does drain again, but I am concerned that it could easily happen again. I will of course be adding this to my weekly checks (ensuring nothing is blocking the drain channels) but when I jet wash the car and lift the bonnet I can see the electrics on the side (poor place to have them) do get water on them.
Obviously the electrics cannot be relocated so I am wondering if there is any way to put some sort of case on them to protect them from water?
