Hi I have a 2010 1.6 3008. The Air Con has been intermittent for a while for example it may work for 10 mins of my 30 drive home.
I took it to ATS as I thought it may need re-gassing (I got a groupon voucher).
ATS did the pressure test (no leaks) however couldn't get it to work and suggested I see an Air Con specialist. Took it to a local garage today who was recommended and received the following prognosis:
The system works ok when the car is in idle however the air con pressure rises significantly when the engine is revved.
He also reported a Body Control Module Code of = BSI Re-Initiation
And the Engine Electro Thermostat is open circuit.
He didnt want to change compressors etc and cause unnecessary costs so suggested I took it a Peugeot Dealer to take a look.
Note, ATS or the local garage haven't charged me for any of this work so far
Anybody have any ideas?
