1.2 petrol
Hi 1st time poster. Having driven a vw diesel for the last 4 years I thought I'd try the new Peugeot it was 1.6 diesel. However now doing a lot less miles was persuaded it order a petrol. So can anyone. With a 1.2 130bhp confirm if it is underpowered. Or. If it is ok for my self wife and 3 kids. Thanks

I have driven a 2.2 lt diesel turbo for the last 10 years. When I arranged to test drive the new 3008 auto I told the dealer that I would need at least a 1.6 petrol to manage a car of this size. He said "don't make up your mind until you have tried the 1'2 petrol," I was amazed how lively it was, I am really thrilled with it. A bit disappointed with the fuel consumption as it is only returning 36 mpg. As it is only two weeks old I am hoping this will improve considerably on a long run, fingers crossed:-)
Hi wheelchap am pleased to hear about your experience heard a lot of good reviews about the 1.2 so I ordered one I am however abit disappointed regarding the fuel consumption I hope it improves once things have loosened up abit
