Hi guys I have recently purchased the above vehicle lately I have found the engine to be noisy and unrefined when putting my foot down for some extra power, is this normal? The 1.2 petrol engine seems somewhat under powered for size car.
Also all of a sudden the fans / blowers have become very noisy, I am wondering if we have a Friday afternoon job!?

Under heavy acceleration the engine emits a distintive roar which I gather is quite usual for 3 cylinder engines. I certainly don't find it under poweread at all and I have the EAT6 autobox and have covered 6000 miles plus including German autobahns at 130 kph. I can't comment on the noisy fans.
