USB ISSUE

Hi. Just took delivery of my new GT Line Premium. I have an issue with the car reading my memory stick. It’s formatted to FAT32 and does indeed play ok however, sometimes when I turn the car on the usb option is not lit up in source and sometimes it is. It’s so hit and miss. Does anyone know why this could be? There is only about 500 songs max. My old car was able to load a stick with 5k on it no issue.
