Hello everyone. I've bought a plate 18 3008 GT line 1.6 diesel and I have an issue with the dashboard. Basically when I choose the navigation, the map doesn't appear at all in the dashboard. Any idea for this problem? Thank you very much for your help :-)

There are many choices for what you want on the dash board display and I suggest that you haven't selected this item. Go to 'Choice of Display Mode' on Page 14 of my online manual where it tells you how to select various options including navigation.

I'm sorry but probably I didn't explain properly my problem. When I select navigation on the dashboard, the screen is dark. No map at all.

Do the other items like speedo and rev counter appear or is it completely blank?

Sorry but I can't offer any advice, I suspect yo'll have to ask the Peugeot dealer. The best of luck!

Thank you very much anyways. I already booked an appointment for this and they guy said probably could be a sensor. I just wanted to ask here what could be if I should be concerned or not because I don't want to pay for fault not caused by myself.

My 3008 is less than 3 weeks old and I have seen this "no map on dash" issue a couple of times - but when I tried it again later, it worked. Perhaps having switched the ignition off and on again was the cure. Anyway I hope you get your problem resolved.

So I should try with the ignition off and then on? I will finish to update the firmware because the first one I've done it was 3 hours. Today I will finish it and see what happens. Tomorrow I have to get the car at the Peugeot anyway. Thanks for the hint :)

I mean that resetting the system by switching it off and on again may have cleared the fault. I don't usually have the nav display in the dash so I haven't looked for a week or so. Before making a trip to the dealer... just check! Hope it's sorted one way or the other. Where are you located? I updated Europe mapping (nearly 10gb) and it took 30 minutes - 3 hours is crazy!
