Hi all

I hope everyone is enjoying their 3008’s.

I had the car since February and i was really enjoying it. I still do but suddenly i had this error appeared on my dash every time i turn my engine on. Car has no Waranty anymore and i was wondering what this issue can be, battery or something more serious.

If anyone already deal with this issue?

Peugeot 3008 2017 1.6 BlueHdi GT line

Many thanks

Hi,

Same issue here, the part you will most likely need is a “battery management unit” or BPGA they call it. Mine discovered this after I paid for diagnostics. Mine is a 2018 3008 GT LINE, only done 38,000 miles and has this fault. Ordered the part in Feb…still waiting for it. I’ve tried to start my car today and it’s dead. Order the part quickly or you’ll have a similar experience.

Hope this is helpful!

Let us know how you get on :( I would never have a Peugeot again, terrible experiences! They look good, but mechanically…diabolical!

I had to have the BPGA replaced on our 2017 Allure auto after getting weird messages and problems starting

It's the best £700 I have spent, it's like a new car. It's a known fault on early new shape 3008's.

I can reinforce what dhphoto says as mine had same problem. I ordered a new bpga via Aliexpress for less than £200 and my local garage fitted it for £50. No problems since.

My car is 2017 (new shape) 3008 Allure

Hi could you please send me a link to the correct bpga you bought off AliExpress?

Mine is a 2017 3008 gt line, want to make sure I get the right part. Garage is looking £800 to repair!

Thanks

Hi Richk, can you please share the link with me too? I am new and can't private message you. Much appreciated!

I've messaged you - hopefully you have it.

My car is a 3008 1.2 petrol Allure 2017 but this part seems common across models. However my original part still had all the stickers on it so worth double-checking under the bonnet.

Best of luck

Yes I got it. Thank you so much.

Mine is a 2018 allure model that is 1.6 TH-P.

As long as its not for the older MPV model.

But it should work all the same.

Had this message pop up when i bought the car, booked it in for repair and on collection told it was fuse, got in the car started it and up popped the message again. Service guy took it back in to run diagnostics and told me it needed a new BPGA. Had it in again today mine in today for replacement BPGA to be fit, got the call to say it was ready for collection. Collected keys started car and up pops the message again. Not happy at all. Waiting for a response to have it looked at by a different branch. I'm doubting they have actually done anything at all, going to take a better look later as on first check the part looks like the original (dust and dirt on unit and cables).
