Continual Beep when reversing.

Hi all. I previously had a 3008 GT line as a company car and am almost sure that when I put the car into reverse, there was no continual beep unless you got close to something. I have just got another 3008 not a GTline and when putting this into reverse, there is a long continual beep until you stop and put the car into 1st. It is very loud and annoying. Does anyone know if I can turn this off so or down. Many thanks.

Have you tried wiping the reversing sensors - used to have a similar problem in my 208?

Just a thought….. do you have a tow bar?
I have a tow bar with removable tow hitch ball and if the hitch (ball) is attached it constantly beeps.
The rear sensors can be turned off, which I do if I have a trailer attached, but for every day use I remove the tow hitch ball.
