car won't go into gear

Hi all. the clutch pedal on my daughters car stayed down as she returned home, the local garage said it needed a new slave cylinder, they fitted that as well as a new clutch & master cylinder. they called her today to tell her that the car won't go into gear and now want to fit a new flywheel too. does anyone have any advice on whether changing the flywheel will fix the problem. it's a 2012 1.6 diesel. tia.
