Faulty Brake pump and Timing belt Peugeot 3008
I bought Peugeot 3008 bought it from Hughes Peugeot Beconsfield in 2018. It had 14,000 on the clock. I have since had 2 new brake pumps. Which my brakes completely fail leaving me to stop with the button handbrake. I now have broken down for the third time. The RAC reckon this time it’s the timing belt. It has only done 51,000 miles and have phoned Peugeot and they reiterated that I should change it every 100,000 or 10 years. I was told by one dealers I haven’t any safety recalls but the other one says yes you have 3 being the timing belt and the brake pump. The dealers told me they will give me a hire car when I bring the car in and they will not help me with a recovery. My car is my livelihood and I had to pay out on a hire car for 3 weeks.
