Just had an adblue removal remap done, no warning lights or countdown to not starting issues now. Guy was saying they are seeing more and more vehicles from all manufacturers with adblue faults , some passed on from garages as they have replaced numerous parts without solving the issues so they are having them remapped.

hi
i do have a 3008 (17 Plate 45000 miles)
with the the dreaded ADblue fault light and counting down
topping up with Adblue doesn't solve the problem
i did have it reset with the ODB fault finder but it is only temporary and it just returns.

I was quoted £1600 to have the unit replaced as it was not under warranty
although it should be as it seems to be a fairly common known fault.

I was eventually told it was the sensor on top of the tank that that gets corroded with, would you believe adblue fluid
so i paid £180 to have the fault 'turned off'. (adblue removal remap)
and for it to never to return again ( although you can have it turned back on again).

i feel everyone's pain! my ADBLUE injector failed so paid over£1000 to be replaced, 6 months later my adblue pump went. after allot of research and how much of a poor design these systems are. i stumbled across a company called torxtuning and omg they are a god send!! they specialise in permanent adblue removal and solved all my issues for a small fraction of the cost to repair. its been 9 months since having it done and i could not be happier. they even tuned my car for better economy within the same price. no issues with mot either, i recommend anyone with adblue / urea issues to just get it removed and save your self a headache and thousands of pounds, anyone who is interested ive attached there link. www.torxtuning.co.uk
