Re: 2021 !.2 EAT8. Yesterday the message 'Gearbox fault needs repair' suddenly appeared. Within seconds this changed to 'engine fault needs repair' A spanner also appeared and the satnav had plotted a route to my normal Peugeot dealer 10 miles away. I stopped at a shop and when I restarted the car the spanner disappeared and the messages have not come back. I very often see the message 'brake, obstacle' when there is no obstacle that close to be a problem soI put it down to being yet another false message.

Had a very similar issue - at a certain speed engine light would come on followed by spanner - switch off engine and spanner goes.

Heard a small knocking noise so took to my local garage - found that the anti roll bar link had perished so replaced for £70. Since then no light at all so perhaps it is linked
