Hi. I have had my Peugeot 3008 for just under a year now. It is a 71 plate Peugeot 3008 allure premium. I am just wondering if my car should be automatically locking itself if I was to walk away and leave it unlocked for a period of time?
For example, there have been a couple of occasions that I have parked the car, got the kids out and bags from the boot, shut all doors and walked into the house, not realising I havent lockee the doors. Then when going out to the car a while later, seeing the mirrors are still unfolded and realising the car was unlocked.
This is my first Peugeot so any help would be great. My previous cars have been a bit older and both had automatic lock features.
Auto Lock
The only auto lock feature that I know of is if the unlock procedure is actioned by key or knurled part of front door handles and no door is upened within 30 seconds the car will re lock itself. I did hace a 2014 Mazda 3 which locked as you walked away from the car whilst the key was on your person.
