hi, new to forum hence may be in wrong section, but here goes, I have recently bought a 2014 2.0l hdi allure fitted with 235/45/18 wheels, came with no spare wheel only compressor and goo, and as I will be towing a caravan sometimes I need a spare, what I would like to know is will a Peugeot 15" wheel/tyre 185/65/15 fit mine as a spare ? hope someone can advise as the seller of the wheel says it will fit ? cheers T

Converting the 65mm to inches gives 2.559 inches, adding that to the 15 inches of the wheel diameter totals 17.559. So your spare would be less than 1/2 inch smaller difference to your standard road wheels. I think as a short term, get you out of trouble spare, it's doable. All you need to know now, is the offset and wheel bolt spacings are correct. I can't help you with that I'm afraid. Hopefully someone in the know will be along soon?

thanks old salt for info, I contacted one of the sellers on ebay selling the above and he replied saying it would not fit as to near the calipers, needs to be 16" as any bigger than 16" would not fit in the spare wheel well in boot, so thanks again, perhaps someone on here has fitted a full size spare on the same car as mine. cheers Tony.

Hi Tony,

I have 18" wheels on my 3008. The spare wheel is a space saver and the size is on the "B" pillar sticker (photo below). I see there are quite a few on eBay for around £89 for brand new items. You would still need to get a jack and wrench if you don't have them with the goo kit?
Hope this might be a get around for you?

That's good Tony. Glad you have found the right kit. We sadly had to finish caravanning last year due to my wife's ill health.
Safe towing!!

hi, all who advised me and to others requiring a full spare wheel, I managed to buy a steel wheel with new tyre jack and wheel nut spanner, £90.00 all brand new, plus the cost of collection and delivery £17, it was a 225/50/17 and fits both on the car as a spare (the original wheel bolts are designed to be used both on steel and alloy, it also fits in the boot well fine and jack etc fits inside wheel, so doesn't take up any room ,
